Describe your personal brand.

My personal brand is fostering a collaborative environment and function in a team where individual and collective objectives are fully aligned.

What were you doing before The NUS MBA?

I worked in sectors such as fintech, consulting and social impact for almost a decade before pursuing my MBA at NUS. I have a bachelor's degree in business studies from Delhi University. Currently, I lead investor relations, partnerships and impact investing for a global venture capital firm.

Please share your key achievements and leadership roles on the programme.

"In Aug 2019, I was elected as President of the NUS MBA Students' Council. As President, I led a team of 30 student council leaders to serve our MBA cohort that is made up of 200 students. My term as President coincided with the launch of Deans' Challenge (a 'Tri-Wizard Tournament' style set of competitions amongst Singaporean B-Schools) which I led and was a huge success. This is also the period where we saw the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic where we had to pivot and change the way we organise events, conduct classes and source internships/jobs for students.

My legacy at the NUS MBA includes conceiving Echoes - a weekly NUS MBA newsletter, adding Sandbox as a full fledged club, strengthening the MBA club ecosystem to intimately engage alumni/industry professionals in student activities, and establishing STTC (Student Transitional Task Committee) to involve the incoming cohort into organizing student council events, an effective way for them to step into the shoes of a student leader before they eventually become student leaders themselves."

What has been the single most stand-out experience of your MBA?

The entire NUS MBA experience has been a revelation for me and it is truly hard for me to chose just one stand-out experience.

What advice would you give to other MBA aspirants?

Think of the MBA, the entire experience - academics, clubs ecosystem, internships, case competitions, etc. as a sandbox where you can try new things to identify your true leadership style and what industry/job function you like/want to pursue post MBA.
