Describe your personal brand.
I am a data-driven professional committed to supporting businesses in shaping Digital Strategies and affecting Digital Transformation. I have over 13 years of industry experience providing digital/non-digital solutions for business problems. I love traveling and never miss an opportunity to explore a new country. During my free time, I love to read books and try out new cafes (I love coffee).
What were you doing before The NUS MBA?
While pursuing my part-time MBA, I headed the Data Analytics & Business Intelligence team at the Group Digital Office of Keppel Corporation and led the Digital Centre of Excellence and Enterprise Architecture office. I enjoy teaching and mentoring, and I taught Data Science & Machine Learning to students in Postgraduate Certificate program at UT Austin & Great Lakes Institute of Management. I worked as a scientist at India's Defense Research & Development Organization before moving to Singapore in 2011.
Please share your key achievements and leadership roles on the programme.
The following are my achievements and contributions throughout a diverse career which started as a Defense Scientist and currently focusing on data-driven decision-making.
What has been the single most stand-out experience of your MBA?
All the interactions with my classmates and professors have been stand-out experiences. The experiential modules were amazing so it is hard to pick one.
What advice would you give to other MBA aspirants?
Focus on learning, try and make the most out of the classes. There is a notion that MBA is for networking and classes are secondary, which I totally disagree with. I would advise not to choose one over other.
