London, United Kingdom
During the semester’s recess week, 20 NUS MBA students flew to London for the Global Immersion Programme (GIP) 2019. These student-led overseas study trips are organised every semester to provide a unique platform for students to garner international experience and learn best practices in the corporate, entrepreneurial and government spheres of the host country. It is also an opportunity to broaden their professional networks and gain frontline insights from top-level business leaders and government representatives. Read more

Japan
Earlier in May, more than 20 NUS MBA students visited Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto for the Japan Global Immersion Programme (GIP) 2019. This is the second GIP trip in the year where the first group visited London. Taking the lead for this trip were Japanese students, Shoichi Sakatani, Nami Nishimura and Ryuji Yamamoto. Knowing that interest in Japan was high in their cohort, they wanted to welcome their classmates to their home country, and share more about their culture and how working in Japan is like. Read more

Australia
The GIP to Australia was held during the recess week of February 2017, and covered visits to the cities of Sydney and Melbourne. The group of 18 MBAs had an enriching experience as well as a taste of Australian hospitality through visits to our host companies such as the Commonwealth Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation, Fairfax Media, IBM, Brosa, ConvaTec, Charter Keck Cramer, Healthscope and Fonterra. Also included in the itinerary was a visit to our partner, the Melbourne Business School (MBS), who generously hosted and facilitated a networking event amongst the MBAs of both Business Schools. The group also had an incredible time exploring Sydney and Melbourne to experience the culture, diversity and lifestyle of the life down under.
May 2015
Hong Kong
In May 2015, the MBA students set off to Hong Kong for a week long study trip which includes company visits to Google, Giorgio Armani, PIMCO, HK Monetary Authority, Fung Group, CDIB Capital International, and Citibank. They met with the senior management from these companies and it was a rewarding experience learning how business cultures and practices differ between Singapore and Hong Kong despite both countries sharing many similarities.

Germany
The chance to visit Germany provided many students an excellent opportunity to forge closer bonds. It was also a chance for the group to understand the uniqueness of the Germany economy, and how it relates to the rest of the European Union. The students visited Siemens, Roland Berger and Santander, as well as met with alumni based in Germany. It was an enriching experience for the MBAs as they seek to understand the contrast of the strong culture of perfectionism and discipline in Germany.
April 2016
Spain
It was an intensive study trip to Spain in April 2016, packed with both company visits as well as leisure activities. The students were exposed to the art, history, architecture and the Spanish culture, which also provided much insights to how it all influenced the way business is conducted. Company visits to Santander, Repsol, Caixa Bank, HP, as well as the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium were eye openers to the MBAs.

GNAM comprises 30 top business schools in 28 countries, with NUS Business School being the only member school from Singapore.
These for-credit courses, offered virtually by a member school, connect students from multiple member schools online for lectures and discussions, and collaborative team projects, developing teamwork skills and cross-cultural perspectives.
Hosted by the Yale School of Management, this one-of-a-kind contest is dedicated to equity investments sourced from top business students around the globe. Student teams from member schools submit five investment ideas from the country in which they attend school for a chance to win cash prizes.
