Yes. The NUS MBA is available in full-time and part-time formats. The part-time MBA offers two pathways — Part-time and Part-time (Flex) — with the same NUS MBA curriculum and degree. The Flex pathway offers a more concentrated schedule, with fewer weeknight classes and a combination of Friday-Saturday classes and intensive 5-day blocks, making it suitable for working professionals with demanding or regional schedules.

Class schedules vary by MBA format:

  • Full-time MBA: Classes are typically held on weekdays during the day, with electives offered on weekday evenings and weekends.
  • Part-time MBA: Core courses are typically held on weekday evenings (6:30pm–9:30pm), with electives generally held on Saturdays (9am–5pm). Part-time students are given priority for core courses offered in the evenings.
  • Part-time (Flex) MBA: Designed for working professionals who need greater flexibility, Flex has fewer weekday evening classes, with classes delivered through Friday-Saturday sessions and intensive 5-day blocks.

Yes. Full-time MBA students have the flexibility to fast-track their studies and may complete the program in as little as 12 months, depending on their course planning and availability of courses. Students who wish to pursue an accelerated timeline can work closely with the Program Management team to plan their course schedule and make the most of the available options.

Students may request to switch between the Full-time and Part-time/Part-time (Flex) MBA once during the program, subject to the eligibility requirements and approval from the MBA Office. Students requesting to switch to the Part-time MBA may be required to provide supporting documentation demonstrating their employment or residency in Singapore. Students should consult the Program Management team on the requirements and process before requesting a switch.
