A banking and finance professional with over 14 years of experience in supporting local and international corporates and private equity funds on their investments in Singapore and the wider region.

What were you doing before The NUS MBA?

Prior to my MBA, I was an SVP in Structured Finance with Bank of China. Post-MBA, I am an Associate Director with HSBC supporting private equity funds by financing their portfolio companies and LBOs.

Please share your key achievements and leadership roles on the programme.

I was recognised for outstanding individual performance by the local and global head office of Bank of China. I also received the NUS Undergraduate Merit Scholarship while pursuing my bachelor’s degree at NUS Business School.

What has been the single most stand-out experience of your MBA?

During my MBA journey, I was surprised by quality of the programme, and the diversity of the cohort, teaching faculty and program. Some modules challenged my areas of expertise, while others in unfamiliar fields piqued my interest in future-focused topics. Being selected for this award is a great honour and the perfect conclusion to my NUS MBA experience.

What advice would you give to other MBA aspirants?

The NUS MBA programme brings together current and future global leaders and professionals from diverse background, facilitated by a quality teaching faculty. Make the most of your time on the program by engaging actively in class, learning from the varied experiences and perspectives of your classmates and instructors, and shaping your personal brand by contributing your own.
