Same NUS MBA. More flexibility

Today’s leaders are expected to grow, pivot and lead, without pressing pause on their careers. That’s why the NUS MBA is introducing the Part-time (Flex) MBA, an enhanced part-time format that delivers the full NUS MBA experience, re-imagined for the pace and complexity of modern professional life.
This new pathway is designed for early to mid-career professionals in Singapore and across Asia who want to advance their careers without relocating or pausing their careers, while earning an MBA from the top University in Asia.
Learn in-person on the NUS campus through a flexible mix of Friday-Saturday classes and short, intensive 5-day blocks. This schedule reduces weeknight classes for Singapore-based participants, while enabling regional participants to join without career disruption.
Earn the same NUS MBA degree, taught by the same world-class faculty, alongside high-caliber peers from across the region – all within a format that allows you to balance career, life and learning.
More Reasons to Choose the Part-Time (Flex) MBA

The Part-time (Flex) MBA is designed for professionals navigating demanding careers and frequent travel. With fewer weeknight classes, the format supports sustained engagement in the program while allowing participants to stay fully committed to their professional responsibilities.
Participants benefit from the same curriculum and global learning opportunities as those in the full-time and regular part-time MBA. Through in-person classes, students learn alongside peers from across the NUS MBA community, experiencing the diversity, energy and rigour of NUS’s dynamic classroom environment.
The program is purposefully designed for future-ready leaders, combining academic depth with practical relevance. Learning is grounded in real-world application, helping participants build agility, perspective, and insight across industries and markets.

Curriculum & Schedule At A Glance
The program offers a concentrated schedule while preserving the full in-person learning experience – ideal for regionally mobile professionals or those based in Singapore who travel frequently.
Here is a quick look at what you can expect:
- Friday classes: Afternoon (12-3pm/3-6pm) and/or evening (6.30-9.30pm/10pm)
- Saturday classes: 9am-5pm
- Intensive 5-day block classes: 9am-6pm; may include weekends to reduce out-of-office days
- Location: All classes take place at NUS Business School (main Kent Ridge campus), with select courses offered in online formats
- Blended learning weeks: During 2 out of 13 weeks each semester, classes shift to a blended format, where learning takes place either through live online sessions or structured self-paced modules. Faculty continue to guide students through curated content – such as bite-sized video lectures, interactive discussions, case exercises, or online consultations – ensuring continuity and academic rigour. These blended weeks are pre-scheduled and standardised across the program so students can plan ahead for work travel, family obligations, or personal commitments without missing out on learning. The remaining weeks continue to be delivered fully in person, preserving the rich classroom experience that defines the NUS MBA.
- Added Flexibility: Option to take daytime classes on other weekdays if your schedule allows
- Students may opt to skip courses in the special term and take them in future semesters or special terms instead
