Power your career with a Part-time MBA

If you’ve been thinking about pursuing a part-time MBA, we’re here to help. We understand that you may have questions about your eligibility and the application process.

Here, we’ve compiled all the information you need about the NUS MBA to help you make an informed decision.

What is the NUS MBA?
The NUS MBA is one of the most transformative MBA experiences in Asia, offered by the NUS Business School in Singapore. The programme duration affords participants with the ideal amount of time to fuel their personal and professional growth. You can choose between a full-time 17-month format or a part-time 24-30 month format, depending on your schedule and commitments. This programme is conducted on campus.

How will a Part-time MBA benefit my career?
A part-time MBA can be a smart investment in your career, providing you with the opportunity to broaden your business skills and knowledge, build your leadership skills, sharpen your critical thinking, and acquire new skills that are highly valued by employers. The NUS MBA offers a solid foundation with our dual academic and experiential core, and a wide range of more than 50 electives so you can tailor your MBA experience.

One of the key benefits of a part-time MBA is that you can continue working while studying, giving you the chance to apply your learning in real-time and make a larger impact at work, which could potentially lead to increased job satisfaction and promotions.

Additionally, the networking opportunities provided by an MBA programme can help you establish valuable connections with other professionals across various industries. The NUS MBA attracts a diverse cohort of students from more than 30 countries, bringing with them diverse experiences from analytics to marketing, cleantech to finance, healthcare to engineering, and with experience working in start-ups, MNCs, government and NGOs.

In essence, a part-time MBA enables you to embark on your MBA with minimal impact to your career trajectory. It prepares you for greater leadership responsibilities and broadens your career opportunities. Because both the NUS full-time and part-time MBA are essentially the same programme, you’re not getting any less just because you’re pursuing the MBA on a part-time basis. Part-time MBA students who wish to spread their courses across a longer period may choose the 30-month option.
