Describe your personal brand.

I am a community-focused professional who uses technology and thoughtful collaboration to create practical, lasting impact. Grounded in empathy and continuous learning, I aim to empower others and build meaningful connections that drive positive change.

What were you doing before The NUS MBA?

Before my MBA, I spent seven years working across leading technology companies in Singapore, including global firms such as Samsung, regional platforms like Shopee and foodpanda, and most recently at Toku, a VC-backed B2B SaaS startup, where I served as Business Intelligence Manager. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Finance from NUS and returned for my MBA to deepen my leadership and strategic thinking capabilities. Following graduation, I am working at Meta as Strategic Planning & Operations Lead for the APAC Small and Medium Business group. Outside of work, I am committed to humanitarian causes, serving as a longstanding donor to the Red Cross and the World Food Programme. To date, I have helped provide over 2,000 meals to children through global food relief initiatives. Looking ahead, I aspire to expand my impact by focusing more on youth empowerment and education, leveraging both technology and community engagement to create sustainable opportunities.

Please share your key achievements and leadership roles on the programme.

As President of the NUS MBA Tech Club, I led initiatives to promote emerging technology literacy through workshops, company visits, and events in collaboration with partners such as She Loves Tech and La French Tech. Beyond my club role, I supported the wider student community through the MBA Student Council, contributing to inter-club coordination and leading succession planning for the incoming cohort. As an MBA Ambassador, I represented the programme at Open Day and admissions events, engaging with prospective students and supporting outreach efforts. I also initiated and led the Global Immersion Program (GIP) to India, and contributed to GIP China by producing media content to support its visibility. In parallel, I supported academic innovation by assisting in the digitalisation of core course resources, including the MBA Survival Kit. Collectively, these efforts reflect a sustained commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and forward-looking MBA experience.

What has been the single most stand-out experience of your MBA?

Leading the first NUS MBA Global Immersion Program to India was one of the most formative experiences of my MBA journey. What began as a modest idea developed into a multifaceted initiative involving various stakeholders, including corporate partners, faculty, and students—all within the span of eight weeks. During this time, I was also adapting to a significant change in my personal routine and balancing multiple academic and leadership commitments. The experience taught me the importance of planning, perseverance, and managing competing priorities under pressure. Most importantly, it reinforced my belief that with focus, collaboration, and determination, it is possible to turn a simple idea into a meaningful and lasting contribution to the broader community.

What advice would you give to other MBA aspirants?

Be intentional, but stay open. The MBA journey is as much about unlearning as it is about learning. Say yes to things outside your comfort zone, whether it’s leading a student club, starting a new initiative, or taking a class you never thought you’d enjoy. The biggest growth often comes from the unexpected intersections of people, ideas, and industries. And above all, give back to the community. Your MBA isn’t just about your own personal acceleration, it’s also your chance to lift others as we go through this journey together.
