Most students rely on a combination of different types of financial means to cover tuition fees and living expenses. These options typically include personal savings, family support, graduate student loans*, scholarships, and for some students, company sponsorships. You may also take a look at some of the alternative financing options available here.
*For non-residents of Singapore, please explore loan options in your home country, as student loans in Singapore are generally applicable for Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
The NUS MBA tuition fee is S$99,190 (inclusive of GST). The financial commitment to an MBA is great, and to help ease that, we have arranged for payment of fees to be spread over several instalments. You will receive your tuition bill in your EduRec account in the respective first month of the start of each semester (where applicable). Payment instructions and deadlines can be found here.

Miscellaneous student fees help meet costs incurred by the University in providing services to the student community that are either not covered or only partially covered by the tuition fee. These services include healthcare for students; facilitating student cultural, social and recreational programmes; and maintaining the shuttle bus service, IT network and other essential campus infrastructure and services.
All students, whether registered on a full-time or part-time basis, are charged the miscellaneous student fee at the start of every semester, for each semester the student remains on the programme.

While we have attractive merit scholarships to help you cope with some of your MBA expenses, do note that not every student will qualify for an award. Scholarship decisions are announced separately from admission decisions (with the latest by mid-May 2025 for full-time MBA candidates, and mid-June 2025 for part-time). As most scholarship awards are partial (in general, they cover about 15% of tuition on average), it is strongly recommended that you have made adequate arrangements for your MBA expenses without the possibility of a scholarship, and the scholarship award will be an advantage. Scholarships are awarded during the admission process, and do be informed that there will not be any scholarship awarded during the programme.
Note that we do not offer loan arrangements with banks, so please reach out to your local bank in your home country if you are planning to take up a study loan.
Other Expenses: Factor in additional costs like entertainment, personal care items, additional insurance (if necessary) and mobile phone plans. Students who are planning to enrol their children in pre-schools locally will also have to budget between $800-$1,300 monthly.
