This section provides essential housing information and support for Full-Time MBA Student Pass Holders. Whether you prefer the convenience of on-campus living or the flexibility of off-campus options, we have compiled key details to help you find suitable accommodation during your time at NUS.
Off-Campus Housing:
For students accompanied by spouses and children, exploring off-campus housing options is necessary as on-campus housing cannot accommodate family units.
Recommended districts near the campus include:
- Pasir Panjang
- Buona Vista
- Clementi
- Ghim Moh
- West Coast
- Holland/Dover
Resources and Options for Off-Campus Housing:
There’s also a WhatsApp group chat called “NUS Househunters,” which incoming students can utilize to search for off-campus housing. You can join the group by following this link, https://chat.whatsapp.com/HdA6vBxWRPMHXOJXzpCNrN.
Tips for Renting an Apartment:
- To view the actual unit before committing to any rental contract
- Read all the terms of contract carefully
- Inspect thoroughly and take detailed pictures of the apartment/room at handover or first day of move-in. Take note of all existing defects.
- If you are sharing the apartment with other housemates, please discuss and agree on all usage arrangements/payment agreements prior to committing to the contract.
- Take note of clauses on early termination of lease, repairs/maintenance issues, any restrictions (eg, no pets, no smoking, no home business, etc)
On-Campus Housing:
International students holding a student pass will receive specific instructions for on-campus housing applications. Please refrain from submitting your application directly on the NUS Housing Office website as processes, apartment types, and rates differ for MBA students.
Types of On-Campus Housing:
NUS Business School will secure a special arrangement with the National University of Singapore (NUS) Office of Housing Services (OHS) to reserve:
